Ceramic refractory tape
Ceramic refractory tape is one of the strips in which steel wire or steel, silicone or Teflon oil or aluminum foil can be added, the presence of each of these compounds increases the advantages and applications of this product.
This tape is made of ceramic and fiberglass fibers, which have a white color and acceptable flexibility and low weight.
This product can withstand a temperature of 1260 degrees Celsius and this temperature tolerance is due to the presence of ceramic fibers in this strip.
Fiber ceramic tape is used in sealing thermal furnaces, petrochemical fields and boilers.
Fiberglass is a composite fiber ceramic or aluminosilicate strip that has advantages such as low heat transfer, heat tolerance and excellent cohesion.
The ceramic strip is 1.5 to 3 mm thick and has a warp and weft texture.
To increase the strength and heat tolerance of this product, stainless steel or steel wire can be added to it.
Fiber ceramic tape is available in three different types, cordless, wired and foil.
The most important advantages of ceramic tape are as follows:
It is non-combustible and does not emit any toxic fumes around the fire.
It weighs little.
It has acceptable flexibility.
It transfers little heat.
It is easy to install.
Has considerable resistance to heat shock.
The structure of the tissue type (taropod) is therefore extremely strong.
It has significant chemical resistance.
It has impressive mechanical strength and endurance in the face of traction.
Thermal tolerance of ceramic tape in its various types are:
Wireless ceramic strip: 1260 ° C
Wired ceramic strip (stainless steel wire and steel): 1280 ° C
Foil ceramic strip (aluminum foil): 1300 degrees Celsius
Long-term use: 980 degrees Celsius
The most prominent applications of fiber ceramic tape include:
Insulation of boilers and thermal furnaces
Sealing the doors
Sealing of industrial tanks
Making fireproof clothing such as firefighting clothing and safe equipment
Making washers
Application in cable and wire insulation
Production of fireproof bags
Insulation of industrial equipment and pipelines against high pressure and heat
Ceramic refractory tape is available in widths of 10 to 2 cm.
