Bermocoll 481 is a high-concentration grade of ethyl hydroxy ethyl cellulose and is in fact a non-ionic cellulose ethereal powder obtained from wood or cotton. It is easily dispersed in cold water (pH 7 or less) and increases the stability and water absorption in water-based products.
The products of this substance have been produced in three main categories of ethyl hydroxyethylcellulose, methyl ethyl hydroxyethylcellulose, hydrated ethyl hydroxyethylcellulose for more than fifty years and are sold in more than eighty countries today.
