PC strand is a type of rope like steel wire ropes that is used for standing the weight in heavy structures. PC strand is sometimes used as a core for concrete specially in bridges and is available in 1X7, 1X19, 1X35 structures. PC strands are manufactured usually with very high tensile strength.
