Elevator ropes are used for cabine lifting purposes.there are various structures of steel wire rope but only some of them are recommanded for lifting purposes. one of the commmon structures of steel wire rope that is used for elevator is 8X19S with fiber core and wirh IWRC. this structure of wire rope comes in different size of 8, 10 and 11 mm.
