composite insulator
Composite insulators have become a highly developed alternative to conventional insulators in all transmission level voltage classes for AC and DC applications around the world.
Product description
- Silicone housing with excellent hydrophobicity. The excellent hydrophobicity of silicone allows the use of insulators even in highly polluted areas. High resistance to ultra-violet radiation, moisture, heat, frost determines the usage of silicone insulators in all climatic regions.
All the materials used in the production of insulators and finished products are tested according to IEC standards.
This could lead us to install more than 6 million installed composite insulators in operation in Iranian network.
In order to measure the penetration of composite insulators into the market and the reliability of the said insulators, the successor of CIGRE WG B2.21 will work on a questionnaire which will be sent to utilities worldwide. The responses to this questionnaire will form the basis of an additional survey which will update the previous questionnaires from 1990 and 2000. Today, based on preliminary and sparse information, only an estimation of the growth for AC can be considered as 40 million piece up to 2015.
The results of the four 5000 h test of new procedure under AC and DC show that this new
Suggested multi-stress ageing procedure could not only satisfactorily rank the performances of
Composite insulators in pollution area and screen SR composite insulators, but also successfully
Simulate the hydrophobicity changing process under polluted conditions in service.
Our composite insulator up to 400 kV passed the international type test.
During the last 16 years, the company participated in several successful and special projects so that the range of the manufactured products is significantly wide and the number of the insulators manufactured in this factory exceeds 6,400,000 pieces, by now.
suspension/tension insulators (up to 400 kV)
Line post insulators (up to 230 kV)
Station post insulators
Cross Arm insulators
The voltage range of the composite insulators is from 20 kV up to 400 kV for AC applications.
The understanding of customer requirements and long-term experience in the design and manufacture of Silicone Rubber insulators makes us the first choice partner for today’s special challenges such as the new generation of braced line posts for compact lines, 500 kN rated tension insulators and high strength station posts.
