What is a felt bowl? And application of felt bowl:
Radial Shaft Seal is a type of sealant that is used to seal the rotating shaft and the shell containing the fluid to prevent the leakage of fluid or the same oils out of the shell, it is basically located between the fixed part and the rotating part. This type of sealing helps to improve the components and parts and also prolongs their life.

All kinds of felt bowls are widely used in various industries and automotive industries.

The seal actually prevents the entry of any abrasives, moisture corrosion and other harmful contaminants into the machines, they also prevent the mixing of two different materials, for example, prevents the mixing of oil and water.

In fact, the seal bowl is a piece consisting of three spring pieces, a bowl-shaped metal washer and a compact felt that prevents fluid leakage into the mechanical parts, but today each rubber washer is in different sizes in different mechanical devices such as engines. The car is used to prevent oil from leaking out, commonly called a felt bowl.

The felt bowl or sealing set is usually made of Teflon to prevent corrosion of its components.

Depending on the type and material, the felt bowl can withstand temperatures of -40 to 240 degrees Celsius.
