Cobalt is a clear, purple liquid. It is also a surface dryer and a strong oxidizer and is commonly used with auxiliary dryers. Excessive use of it causes wrinkles on the surface and increases the brittleness of the paint film, and is widely used in the paint and resin industries, inkjet, FRP fibers, casting.
Humidity does not affect it much and prevents air moisture from penetrating into the film. If you do not adjust the use of cobalt dryer, due to the rapid drying of the surface, it prevents deep drying of the film. The rate of polymerization increases the hardness as well as the gloss of the paint film and reduces its brittleness, and the rate of catalytic reaction such as high-oxide methyl ethyl ketone to polymerize unsaturated polyester resins.
